Sandlines Workshops

Melinda and fellow writer Lois Williams founded Sandlines in 2014 to teach creative writing workshops in rural communities across East Anglia.

Melinda brings extensive experience in teaching people how to read the landscape and its history, while Lois’s many years of teaching poetry provide the technical and imaginative guidance for writing your own poems and stories.

In 2015, Sandlines ran writing workshops in the Brecks for Breaking New Ground, a Landscape Partnership Scheme, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. This  continued in 2016 with workshops that feature the Brecks landscape in and around Thetford and Brandon.
