03 Apr Landscape Writing Workshop

river reflections

Of Sand and Water

There are two places left on our 25th April creative writing workshop at Santon Downham, near Brandon. Taking place in the heart of the sand landscapes of the Brecks, home to the Forestry Commission, this workshop will focus on the clear chalk waters of the Little Ouse. Explore being with the river and how writing can respond to its flow and shaping of the land.

Meet at 10.30 for some initial readings of poetry and prose and then join us on a short inspirational walk along the river with time to reflect and to write.  In the afternoon we will use classroom exercises to start your own landscape writing.

The workshop ends at 3.30.

Teas and coffees available. Please bring your own lunch.

Cost for the day = £20.00
